Welcome!
We exist to glorify God by deepening the roots of our faith and bringing people to new life in Jesus Christ.
Who we are
New Life Anglican Church is an Anglican Church of Reformed tradition in Petoskey, MI. We enjoy a deeply rooted connection with the past while striving for New Life in Christ each day.
Everything we do, from our worship to sermons, teachings, and classes, are all Christ-centered. We learn about who Jesus is and how we ought to live in light of his teachings, his sacrifice, and his resurrection from the dead.
As Anglicans, we are part of the global Anglican Communion, which is the third largest church body in the world. We are also a member church of the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes and the Anglican Church in North America.

More about New Life
New Life is committed to the Bible as the source of authority for the Christian and the Church. We believe that the scriptures are best read by paying attention to the context in which each book was written and the message each author intended to convey. We are a sacramental church, meeting at the Lord’s Table on a weekly basis as we celebrate the communion we have with God through Christ. We are also a Holy Spirit-filled community that believes in the gifting and power of the Spirit in the lives of believers for the good of the Body of Christ.
We also strive to be a community of thinking Christians. We work to form our minds to think through the scriptures and theology as well as difficult issues we face from the world. As such, we don’t shy away from difficult topics or questions and we encourage people to be asking such questions. This strengthens our own individual faith, and it makes it much easier to share the truth of the gospel with a world that has many questions. We truly believe that biblical Christianity is the worldview system that is best suited to answer life’s most challenging issues.
Please contact the church office or look at our Calendar page for current and upcoming offerings.
Again, thanks for your interest in New Life. We hope you’ll come and join us soon – and if you do, please make a point of introducing yourself to me.
In Christ,
The Rev. Michael J. Bridge, Rector/Senior Pastor
